Since 1969, SSC has been recognized as one of Arizona’s leading underground construction companies. Located in North Phoenix, SSC is a family owned and operated company providing trenchless installation of underground utilities, vacuum utility locating, and excavating services.
We strive to provide employees with industry leading benefits including Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off, subsidized health care, and direct deposit. SSC also has opportunities for employees to work on federally funded projects that pay prevailing Davis-Bacon wages.
Entry level crew members in SSC’s vacuum excavation division can advance to higher-level crew leader positions after mastering responsibilities in the field, demonstrating strong work ethic, and representing the company's core values.
SSC develops and trains employees on how to safely operate heavy equipment and specialty tools that are utilized in excavation, drilling, and tunneling.
SSC has partnered with a professional training and development firm called Employers Council to provide Leadership, Skills, and Safety Training to all field crew employees.
We also invest heavily into the training and development of each SSC field crew leader by holding monthly training sessions designed to provide employees with the resources and skill needed to advance in their careers.
