Human Resources Coordinator: Additional Details
Major Functions of Position
A PENTA HR Coordinator is responsible for:
•Performing customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
•Data entry for all employees and filing documents into appropriate employee files or HRIS.
•Making photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions for the HR Department.
•Registering employees in mandatory training, in addition to updating and tracking training and development within HRIS for all employees.
•Working with HR Manager on all performance and 360 reviews, as well as working together on temporary housing in all regions for employees on temporary assignment.
•Creating, submitting, distributing, and posting announcements to PENTA’s intranet highlighting employee promotions, New Hires, Interns, birthdays, and anniversaries.
•Assisting HR Generalist with Onboarding, New Hire Orientation, Open Enrollment, and rolling out new benefit programs and plans.
•Assisting Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruiting.
•Serving as back-up to the Main Office Coordinator when out of office.
•Other Duties as assigned.
Desired Skills & Experience
We trust that you have:
•Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; and/or 1 to 2 years of Human Resources relative/related experience.
•SHRM certification a plus, but not required.
•Willingness to travel; this role requires periodic travel to regional locations and project sites.
•General understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
•Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and Talent Management Systems.
•Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to act with integrity and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
